FitBug fitness has a broad range of weight based classes and 1 of them is Strength and Conditioning. We are based in Junction 6, Castleknock. I need to stress that these classes are suitable for beginners, improvers or advanced levels of fitness.
One of the benefits of these classes is that they are designed to help you through everyday tasks in life. It is designed to improve the function of your muscles and increase your cardiovascular levels.
Consider this, when was the last time you needed to lift something heavy and carry it for a distance? Was it a struggle? Were you out of breath afterwards?
You may say that you can’t lift heavy objects, would you have to ask somebody else? How would you feel if you could lift that item safely yourself and carried it to its’ destination? That feeling is awesome.
Strength training is for everybody, it is something we should all be doing. It’s irrelevant what age you are, we have a group of 60 + year old ladies who come in and do a circuits for beginners class every week. Our oldest is 82… so you are never too old as this is only used as an excuse.
Improving your cardio levels will help you to perform tasks better, faster and you will recover quicker because you are fitter.
These classes are suitable to all abilities, there’s so many variations that we can do to help you begin and improve…. All of this in turn improves your quality of life by being stronger and fitter.
